Graphite Rings

Manufactured by molding flexible graphite or flexible graphite braided foil, HPMS graphite rings are designed to provide excellent sealing functions for valves, pumps, compressors, and chemical instruments.

Characteristics
  • Excellent thermal stability: Resistant to low and high temperatures (-200 to 650 °C) in oxidation environments and 3000°C in inert or reducing environments.
  • Chemically inert: Resistant to fluids with a pH range of 0-14 (except strong oxidizers such as nitric or sulphuric acid).
  • Low coefficient of friction.
  • Ease of installation.
Applications
  • High temperature, high pressure steam.
  • Hot water, oil, heat exchange fluids.
  • Low-temperature liquids.
  • Organic and inorganic fluids except for strong oxidizers such as nitric or sulphuric acid.
  • High temperature and pressure liquid valves.
  • High temperature and pressure gas valves.
  • High temperature joints.
  • Packing rings, turbine rings, and piston rings.
  • Special vacuum furnace applications.
